BBB009 - Basil - African Grey Parrot

Basil is a 23 year old African Grey Parrot. He is a fairly quiet bird who enjoys time out of her cage , He enjoys scritches although his behaviour can be unpredictable to anyone other than his chosen person. Basil is successfully diet transitioned onto pellets and all the Busy Beaks Box food ranges as Like his brother is also with fresh chop. Basil steps up beautifully for his chosen human only, he does have poor feather condition and muscle atrophy so his flight is currently limited. Basil does have onset arthritis but his symptoms can be successfully managed through diet. Basil s fully disease tested, holds an Article 10 certificate and is now available for adoption for £200.00
His current locations is Coventry CV3.

BBB0011 - Ivy - Orange Wing Amazon
Ivy is a 3 year old Orange Wing Amazon. Ivy has been in the rescue since early september. Ivy has shown a very small interest in humans but loves the company of other birds. Ivy is currently safehoused with a Macaw and an african grey and seems to enjoy their company more that her human friends. Ivy is on a good diet and seems to enjoy all of her food. We feel ivy would suit an aviary placement. We belive that Ivy would benefit from the company of other birds living the most natural life she can. IVy is fully disease tested and microchipped. BBB0015 - Fred - Senegal Parrot
Fred is a very friendly male orientated Senegal. He is very fond of his chosen person and won't hesitate to make himself right at home on your shoulder.
He steps up well and had brilliant manners outside of the cage.
Fred has been transitioned onto pellets and fresh chop which he really enjoys.
Fred does need a little bit of work on his behaviour in the cage as he can at times be a little cage aggressive.
As with any bird he needs boundaries and ongoing training to ensure no naughty behaviours come out but overall he will make a beautiful companion bird for the right man.
Fred is fully disease tested, microchipped and vet checked.
He is now available for adoption with a fee of £200.00
BBB0017 - Archie - African Grey parrot
Archie is a male African grey Parrot that arrived into rescue with very little information.
Archie needs a lot of work with his trust in humans. During his time in safehouse he has been successfully converted to pellets and now really enjoys his fresh food now.
Archie doesn't step up, but has now started taking treats from you. He loves being out of his cage and will sometimes allow tickles if he trusts you. Archie has a huge vocabulary although some of his phrases are a little explicit.
Archie needs a quiet home where he will be he only bird as we believe he will thrive with the 1-2-1 interaction. Archie is fully disease tested. He doesn't hold an A10 Certificate therefore his adoption fee is £0.00

BBB0022 - Harry - African Grey Parrot
Harry is a very sweet boy in need of a male carer.
Harry arrived into rescue as his owner sadly took very poorly and couldnt give harry the care he needed.
Harry does step up and is a wonderful flyer.
He like to spend his time shoulder surfing.
Harry can be a little cage agressive but once out of his cage he is perfect!
Harry is now on a pellet diet and he really enjoys all his fresh food.
Harry has been disease tested and his results were negitive.
Harry is on a £0.00 adoption fee as we are unable to obtain a A10 Certificate.

BBB0028 - Merlin - Eclectus Parrot
Merlin is a sweet older Male Eclectus Parrot who arrived into rescue through no fault of his own. Merlin steps up and loves nothing more than to shoulder surf his human! He has been successfully transitioned onto Harrisons Pellets but is showing some stubbornness with his fresh food so perseverance is needed. Merlin is a slightly nervous bird and would benefit from a home where he is the only bird. Merlin does have poor flight ability and he is also plucked. Merlin does currently need a UV light and regular sprays to help ease the plucking.
Merlin is fully disease tested and is now available for an adoption on a Ruby membership of £375.00.
